Wall Panel

Metal Roof Contractors manufactures and installs not only roof panels but a variety of wall panels too. From insulated metal panels to aluminum composite panels (ACM) MRC has years of experience working with a range of different panels.

In 2016 Metal Roof Contractors invested in a CNC router machine, allowing us into a new marketplace. There are two different type of ACM applications, Rainscreen and wet joint. The rainscreen provides a flat surface comparable to much thicker aluminum, at a more reasonable price. When you desire larger panel modules or panels with greater impact resistance, aluminum composite material is the way to go.

The wet joint system provides the same performance and rigidity as our standard ACM rainscreen, with the exception that the system is designed to accept sealant and backer rod at all joint locations.
MRC can even do custom fabrication. One of our more recent jobs that we are very pleased with is the new Norman Library. The architect called for a weathering steel material. This type of metal will weather overtime being exposed to the outdoor conditions leaving a rustic and weathered look to the metal.

Our niche is the specialty wall panel. The high end architectural metal panels are the main focus of our ideal client. These clients are hospitals, car dealers, high end retail, school buildings. This look is the modern look that everyone is after right now.

Commodity Wall Panels

These are the single skin, or a single layer of metal, with a exposed fastener or concealed fastener. Exposed Fasteners are R-Panels, AG panel, 7.2 inch panel and many other horizontal or vertical ribbed panels. Concealed fastener panels are a horizontal ribbed panel, 12 inch wide flush seam and standing seam panels. All of these panels are available in 22 gauge, 24 gauge and 26 gauge steel or 0.032 inch or 0.040 inch aluminum.

We are the wall panel company of choice for numerous Oklahoma school systems and for Boeckman Ford, the Ardmore Airport and the Central Oklahoma College and the Jenks High School Football Stadium.

Do I have hail damage?

Although it’s a common myth that hail causes significant damage to metal roofs, the reality is that metal roofs are extremely resilient to hail storms. The best way to check for hail damage is to look for dents and punctures to your roof. Dents are oftentimes a cosmetic problem, although they can be more serious. Any puncture or penetration to your roof will lead to major problems and void weathertightness warranties.

What is included in a 10 point roof inspection?

With a 10 pint roof inspection you will know the condition prognosis of your roof system. We use our 20+ years of knowledge experience to chase leaks and advise our customers on a course of action. We use a simple evaluation method by grading components of your roof based on an A-F scale. An A grade means your roof component is in great shape and has a long life span. A F grade means the roof component is failing and needs to be repaired or replaced. Generally all of the components of an existing roof system will be somewhere in between and can be repaired, reapplied or replaced. The following components make up our 10 point inspection:

  • Roof Panel Finish
  • Roof Panel Aging
  • Wall Panel Finish
  • Wall Panel Aging
  • Weather Damage
  • Valley Trim
  • Gutter and Downspout
  • Ridge, Rake, Closures and all other trims
  • Roof Penetrations
  • Insulation
